What I’ve Learned

Don’t worry I’m not going back over the last 36 years — just the last few months.   I’ve learned that I’m an entreprenuer…always will be.  I’ve learned that love is in fact pos­si­ble and it comes with the abil­ity to trust.  I’ve learned that if I sur­round myself with great peo­ple — great things happen. 

 In the last week I part­nered with the most fab­u­lous woman I’ve ever met Jamie Verkamp and we gath­ered together — put together what we know and cre­ated a busi­ness called The Prac­tice Pros.  The Prac­tice Pros allows us to help physi­cians with their mar­ket­ing intia­tives, empower their team and help them mar­ket their prac­tice in the most eth­i­cal and effec­tive way.  

We also began to build out on the suc­cess of the first Kansas City job engine that is solely ded­i­cated to the pro­mo­tion of Kansas City Adver­tis­ing, Mar­ket­ing and Sales Jobs.  Why?  We come from the adver­tis­ing indus­try and we know not only is it hard to find good peo­ple it’s hard to find that sin­gle source where all of the adver­tis­ing jobs within the Kansas City metro region can be viewed — that’s why we had 25,000 vis­i­tors last month.

In the last week I’ve seen some tran­si­tions — good tran­si­tions.   I’ve pushed myself back into that entre­peneur mode real­iz­ing it’s what I was made for.   I’ve received a book con­tract and I’ve sur­rounded myself with those that sup­port and believe in what Jamie and I are doing professionally.
