Web 2.0? Sounds clever and so technical, but what does it mean? Web 2.0 is a phrase that was coined by O’Reilly Media. It refers to the second generation of internet based services. In Web 2.0 these services focus on the collaboration and information that is shared by people.
What does Web 2.0 mean for companies? It means more focus on social networking and buzz marketing. In essence the largest tool in Web 2.0 is blogs. The web isn’t about news stories and photo browsing anymore, we’ve gone to the next level.

It means glossy buttons, reflections, etc, with little appreciation for the decision making behind using these elements. One could support a career for a time doing “Web 2.0″ logos. Modern, lower-case, sans-serif type, old imac colors, reflection, and BAM! you’re logo is done sir.
