Marketing Frustrations

Frustration! In the marketing field we all feel it at one time or another, yes? My biggest frustration comes when trying to find new strategies for a saturated market. How can we do it differently? How can we get the attention of the audience? I even struggle at times with that doubting voice that whispers in my ear:

“Can I even get their attention?”
“Perhaps I need to fold it up and pack it away and find another market to enter.”

Normally that voice enters when I’ve lost sleep over the project or I’ve had a nightmare about campaign failure.
What do you do when you hit that frustration level?

I like to look at other industries… and often I can find a differentiation from that industry into my client’s industry. Or chug down a Starbucks. My personal favorite for such situations? Vente Carmel Frap with extra 4 shots + extra Carmel on top… and no wipe. And sometimes Grey Goose can sometimes spark interesting ideas.

I usually go for that order of things… morning, noon, evening. :D
