Catching My Breath

I must apologize, I’ve been missing action. Over the last 2 weeks I’ve gone through a major transition - leaving one company to work for another. (more on this to come later) I’m excited about this transition, but at the same time I’m still trying to catch my breath.

I’ve spent some time writing a very timely article regarding cutting your marketing budget to weather a recession. We are all feeling the crunch of our current economic times, but as history shows cutting your budget will only put you further behind not ahead.

While I spend the next few days adapting the the current changes going on in my life take a few moments to read the article and let me know what you think. Will your company cut their marketing budget to get through the tough economic times and do you think it will hurt or harm them in the long run?

I could not agree more. All to often companies cut before they think. Marketing is the lifeblood of a company. This downturn will be unlike any in history, never before have all of us been as connected as we are in the present time. We can all make it through this downswing as long as we keep spreading information
