Author of Con­sumer Behav­ior for Dum­mies, Mar­ket­ing Colum­nist for About.com (A New York Times Com­pany) I have worked as a colum­nist for About.com since 1998 when it was known as The Min­ing Com­pany. I cel­e­brated 12 years with them this year. I started off as the Inter­net Com­mu­ni­ca­tion Guide/Editor and moved into the mar­ket­ing colum­nist posi­tion in 2003.
